E-Lock Keypad Immobiliser
The E-Lock has been tried and tested within the plant industry for decades. The current and third version has been installed throughout the UK for over 10 years.
This keypad immobiliser is not to be mistaken with the numerous keypad switches, currently flooding the market. E-Lock is a purpose-built immobiliser designed and manufactured in the UK.
Plant immobilisation doesn’t come anymore thorough than the E-Lock as it boasts three separate immobilisation cuts! (eg, hydraulics, fuel and crank).
All the wiring is covertly black with no markings whatsoever. The ‘brains’ of the immobiliser are encased in a robust ABS casing.
P&MT have had to pass rigorous vetting procedures and have our installations audited by the manufacturer, to ensure the highest quality installations match their high-quality product.

Thatcham RFID Fob immobiliser
Thatcham approval for immobilisation products is not given freely. The RFID immobiliser has earned its approval after originally being designed and used for motorcycles nearly 30 years ago.
The Fob immobiliser has largely remained unchanged due to its brilliant and simple design. The controllers are potted within an ABS housing ensuring extreme robustness and reliability.
The receiver is unique in that it is hidden in an agreed place (or motorcycle seat) discreetly whilst also avoiding damage.
Multiple Fobs can be easily programmed to be used with each system. Each system can also share fobs with other systems if required.
The RFID immobiliser comes with a card and keyring fob as standard – both serve the same purpose. Additional fobs are readily available and easily programmed onsite.
All wiring on the immobiliser system is unmarked and black. This system also incorporates Anti Hotwire technology to further detract any potential thief.

IP69 Plant Tracker.
Our IP69 Plant Tracker is very versatile in that it can offer a wide range of data including CANBUS and MODBUS if required.
We can add external antennas including panel mounted or screen mounted options, although the internal aerial is sufficient for most installations.
We can offer remote or even physically incorporated immobilisation within the tracking system but advise against this for security reasons (Please see advice below). However, incorporated immobilisation does have its use within Health and Safety management.
Driver ID is available through the Plant Tracker to ensure only qualified users can operate equipment within their certification remit.
Ignition alerts, geofencing, motion alerts and much more are available and configurable for your specific needs.
What would we at P&MT recommend?
The answer is always the same, a standalone purpose-built immobiliser and a separate purpose-built plant tracking system.
Why?
The potential thief may attempt to start the machine, this is when you would be immediately alerted via our Tracking system.
Perhaps next, they will attempt to bypass the immobiliser (not happened yet), this gives you time to arrange for the relevant people to deal with the situation.
In the very unlikely event that the thief does bypass and rewire the machine before you can react – the likelihood is that the tracker is still in situ as it is wired separately.
If theft is not a concern, due to the size or location of the machine, then perhaps a conjoined system would be beneficial in the management of use rather than to deter theft.
If theft is a concern, then we would always recommend separate systems.
